Wythe Corner House

Natural Wool Felt Winds Through a Brooklyn Townhouse

On a corner lot in Williamsburg, Young Projects undertook a gut renovation and addition to an existing townhouse to maximize the residential space on the upper floors. The voluminous living space features a curvilinear stair covered in 3mm Wool Design Felt in 150 Weiß. The German word ‘Weiß’ translates to ‘white’; however, this natural, undyed wool felt is a soft mix of white and grey sheep’s wool to create depth and subtle texture that accents the white walls and colorful furnishings.
