Scale Previews at NeoCon

At the Knoll showroom at NeoCon 2017 in Chicago, Illinois, FilzFelt’s new products (along with old favorites) filled the space with acoustic, textural architectural solutions. Our product introductions include Scale, a slotted, three-dimensional module wall system. Scale previewed at NeoCon and highlights our love of all things natural.

CNC cut ‘Unscripted’ Wallcovering

3mm Wool Design Felt is custom cut with ‘Unscripted’ and applied as direct glue wallcovering in 150 Weiß and 300 Anthrazit.

Akustika 25 Baffles

Akustika 25 Baffle is an acoustic system that may be customized in size and shape. Individual baffles can be arranged at varied spacing allowing the integration of lighting and mechanical systems. 7” x 4’-7” baffles in 150 Weiß filled the ceiling at the front of the showroom.

Submaterial Collection

The Submaterial Collection is fabricated in two natural materials—wool felt and cork composite backing—to thoughtfully take advantage of 100% wool felt’s thickness and rigidity in dimensional, acoustically absorptive wallcoverings. Index Dimensional and Index Wide are shown in 100 Wollweiß.

Scale

Designed by German design collective, Cabs Design, Scale is a slotted module system made of cut and folded acoustic fiber composite with a 100% wool felt face. The acoustically effective, three-dimensional modules provide optimum acoustic absorption with customizable configurations and color patterning. Scale was shown in 100 Wollweiß, 150 Weiß, and 170 Asche. The previewed at NeoCon and available late-summer of 2017.
