Boston Consulting Group

Anything But Ordinary Wall and Ceiling Treatments

At the Manhattan headquarters of Boston Consulting Group, Gensler kept the company’s mobility program front and center as they crafted unique and flexible spaces with the help of FilzFelt’s adaptable product sizes and custom capabilities. A series of meeting rooms feature ARO Plank 5 walls in yellows, greys, and reds. In one room, ARO Plank 5 in white (100 Wollweiß) is paired with two yellows (124 Gelb + 131 Honig). The cleverly disguised acoustic wall treatment compliments Akustika 25 Baffles in a soft, natural color (150 Weiß) that are laid out in a dramatic sunburst pattern. More Akustika 25 Baffles in other spaces vary in size and placement to give each room a wholly singular look.

Continuing to mix it up with acoustic treatments, Akustika 25 Suspended panels in a dark grey (300 Anthrazit) are oriented in a chevron pattern in a conference room. Elsewhere, a video conference room features pitched Akustika 25 Suspended panels. And last but certainly not least, touchdown rooms include a custom installation of ARO Plank 1 in greys (150 Weiß, 170 Asche, 175 Graphit, 300 Anthrazit) with a colorful plank here and there (173 Mango + 242 Pink).
