Named one of Fast Company’s 50 most innovative companies in 2014, Donors Choose is a pioneering crowd-funding site that allows individuals to donate directly to public school classroom projects including supplies, field trips, and other resources. With donated design services from Eight, Inc., the New York headquarters resembles a schoolhouse and tech startup all in one. Most of the furnishings and finishes are also donated, including 100% Wool Design Felt remnants in a natural, undyed wool. Due to the narrower widths of remnant material, the 5mm felt wall covering is installed in strips and custom cut with playful shapes throughout the meeting rooms and common corridors.
