In the offices of Massachusetts’ largest employer, hospital network, and physician’s organization, Gensler sought to create an efficient office but one where employee wellness ranks up there too. In the building’s café, which no one could consider small in size since it accommodates 4,200 employees, a variety of sound softening solutions include some that appear to be purely decorative. ARO Array 1 Hanging Panels in a custom size suspend overhead to visually and acoustically break up the large space. The green Hanging Panels are situated in fixed positions with the Hanging Panel Track System to add color plus filter light and view through geometric patterning that conceals some sound deadening superpowers.
