Saturated Felt Wallcovering at a Student Dorm

Morgan Hall, designed by MGA Partners, houses 1,275 students in a three-building complex of single, four-bed, and five-bed suites arranged in ‘neighborhoods’ supported by two-story glassy lounges. 3mm Wool Design Felt adds interest and color to these public areas as wall covering. 105 Rost adds saturated color in the television lounges and elsewhere 274 Senf is adhered to a metal framework to create a three-dimensional wall treatment. These colors of pure wool felt can be viewed from the exterior courtyard and create a striking pattern across the twenty-four-story high rise. Melange colorways and horizontal seaming were implemented to allay soiling concerns associated with student use.
